The Clay County Community Foundation (CCCF) is a publicly supported, tax-exempt organization created by and for the people of Clay County, Iowa to invest the gifts received from individuals, families, corporations, private foundations, and governmental agencies. These gifts are carefully invested and the income from these endowed funds are used to make grants to public charities and governmental organizations that best meet the needs of Clay County.

The Mission of the Clay County Community Foundation is to connect donors who care, with causes that matter, and to serve as a trusted resource for addressing issues that impact the quality of life in Clay County.

The Clay County Community Foundation Board of Directors awards grants based on donor wishes, county needs, and a proposing organization's capacity to provide effective service to the people of Clay County. Grants support present and emerging needs in the areas of community betterment, education, health, arts and culture, and human services.

The Clay County Community Foundation provides an opportunity for an individual, family, business, or non proï¬t group to fund their charitable interests - forever. Funds established which limit distributions to the earnings on the assets in the fund. Endowments last into perpetuity.
